About PUSH COMMUNITY INITIATIVE
It is a local NGO focused on preventing and responding to all forms of abuse against children. PCI was founded in 2015 by Massa Kenneth but formal registration as a community based organization was finalized in 2019 when the organization secured a work permit and recommendation to register as a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) from Jinja District Local Government.
Kenneth worked as a project manager and social worker on child and gender based violence projects with different organizations including; Life Child Initiative (LICHI), ChildFund International, CARE International and Jinja Area Communities Federation in both emergency and development contexts from where he developed the vision to form Push Community Initiative to address child violence in Eastern Uganda.
